Don’t Rely on New Year’s Resolutions to Make a Change

by | Dec 16, 2020 | Health and Wellness

Did you know that 92% of New Year’s Resolutions are never achieved

Perhaps, in a society that expects overnight success, we’ve set ourselves up for disappointment.

Perhaps our goals were not broken down into bite-size things that we could tackle.

Perhaps we didn’t share our goals with others who could hold us accountable.

In 2021, consider setting one small goal for yourself every day. In The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy, he states that small, positive decisions can influence your trajectory towards success.

Or maybe you are among the 8% who completed your New Year’s resolution…How did you do it? What was your secret to persevering for 365 days (or more)?

If you are thinking about working towards a goal, one way to increase your chances of success is to have one or more ‘accountability partners’. You could also write down baby steps each day related to how you are going to achieve that big goal in the future.

The Happy PharmD team is ready to start out the year on a goal-setting mission with our community.
